How to Fix if Siri Can’t Open Apps After Jailbreak
On Apple discussion, there are many messages from iPhone/iPad users saying that their Siri doesn’t behave well after the jailbreak. When they ask Siri, the virtual assistant to open apps for them, it says that “There is no such app”, and so on. To solve this, you can troubleshoot every possibility. Let’s see how to fix “Siri Can’t open apps after jailbreaking” problem:
Solution 1. Delete Two Specific Files Under Caches Directory
Step 1. Find the following two files using iFile and delete them.
Step 2. Reboot your iPhone or iPad again to check if it is fixed. If it is not, you can try solution 2.
Solution 2. Rename Two Specific Files Under Caches Directory
Step 1. Rename these two files by adding “.bak” after the path as shown below.
Step 2. Reboot your iPhone/iPad and maybe some apps from Apple Store won’t be shown when you restart the device. Don’t worry, iOS will rebuild the app library automatically. What you need is just wait.
Note: After adding “.bak” after the path, the files will be invisible and you can delete them later.
Step 3. After all the apps you get from Apple Store is back, you can delete the two files end with “.bak” that you’ve just renamed using iFile.
And that’s it. You can try either solution to solve the problem if your Siri can’t open apps for you after you jailbreak your iPhone or iPad. Besides, if you recently turn to use iPhone and don’t know Siri for well, you can check the related article below:
