How to Get Refund from App Store
If you’ve purchased the wrong app or find it not what you want after the purchase, you can ask for a refund from Apple App Store. But how? There are different ways you can choose:
Part 1. Get App Refund from App Store Using Web
Step 1. Go to Apple’s Problem Reports Page.
Step 2. Type in Username and password to sign in to your Apple ID.
Step 3. Find “Apps” category and hit on “Report a Problem” next to the app you want to get a refund.
Step 4. Choose the reason why you want to refund.
Step 5. Choose “Submit“.
Part 2. Get Refund for Purchased Apps Using iTunes
Step 1. Launch iTunes on your PC/Mac.
Step 2. Click on the Profile icon and choose “Account Info“.
Step 3. Type your username and password in to sign in.
Step 4. Scroll down to “Purchase History” section and choose “See All“.
Step 5. Find the app you want to get refund from the item list and choose “Report a Problem” from the right.
Note: The purchase history is listed according to orders. Make sure in which order did you buy the app and find the app purchase record in the specific order.
Step 6. Then, you will be led to Apple’s Problem Report Page as we mentioned in part 1 and follow the instructions you have been told.
Part 3. Refund Apps from Apple App Store with iPhone/iPad
Step 1. Launch Mail on your iPhone/iPad.
Step 2. Type in “Your receipt from Apple” at the top of the interface in the search field.
Step 3. Choose the receipt that has the app you want to refund included.
Step 4. Choose “Report” and “Report a Problem” next to the app you want to refund. Then, follow the steps in Part 1 to submit the problem.
That’s it. You can refund the apps you purchased mistakenly from Apple App Store with Web, iTunes or iPhone/iPad as you wish with simple steps.
