How to Take Time Lapse Photos with iPhone
Time-lapse photography is a remarkable and fun feature that has been available in the iPhone Camera app. It is a type of photography that captures lots of photos over a period of time, and then assembles them together to create seamless videos footage that appears to be faster when played at normal speed.
It’s the opposite of slow motion videos where time appears to be moving more slowly. For most of photos-lovers, it’s a great technique for shooting largely static environments that change slowly such as the sun moving across the sky, flowers opening and closing or creating music-video style recordings in crowded areas.
Follow the instruction below for details on how to take a time-lapse photography on an iPhone so that you can unleash your creativity in a whole new way. When doing a time-lapse, make sure to either hold the iPhone steady, or get yourself a tripod for the iPhone.
Step 1: Tap on the camera icon on the Home screen, then launch Camera app on your iPhone.
Step 2: After that, you need to scroll in the camera types and select the “Time-lapse” option.
Step 3: Once you’ve found a scene you want to capture, press on the red Record button to start taking your time-lapse video. To take a good time-lapse photo, you should be filming the subject that moves slowly because the fast moving subject is hard to catch. You can record video for as long as you’d like.
Step 4: To finish your recording, just click the Record button again and then the resulting video will be saved to your Camera Roll.
Now point your iPhone camera at something interesting, and start to make really amazing time-lapse photos with the technique you just learned. If you have any questions or comments you would like to contribute, please leave your feedback below.
